Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Spanish
• OR Master’s degree or higher with eighteen graduate hours in Spanish
• Degree must be from a regionally accredited college or university

Responsibilities

• Accepts and teaches classes based on varied schedules and modalities
• Accommodates student needs and external stakeholders' expectations
• Prepares and delivers instruction following the College Master Syllabus using the approved LMS
• Communicates regularly with students and college officials
• Independently pursues activities to enhance subject matter expertise and pedagogical skills
• Prepares assignments and assessments to measure learning outcomes
• Designs and maintains an active classroom environment conducive to student learning
• Maintains attendance records and certifies enrollments
• Evaluates student performance according to standards
• Posts grades and submits final grades by deadlines
• Assigns grades consistent with course requirements
• Assists in assessing student learning outcomes and program outcomes
• Accepts assignments at other sites for dual credit courses
