Job summary

MobilityWare, LLC. in Irvine, CA, is seeking a relationship-driven community builder to grow a connected player community around Spades. You will shape our approach, build meaningful relationships, and develop scalable programs to deepen engagement.

You will partner with Product Marketing, translate insights into opportunities, and help surface compelling player stories to the team. Travel for community events may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in community building or related field.
• Experience launching or growing a community from early stage.
• Strong writing, facilitation, and editorial judgment.
• Willingness to travel periodically.
• Experience in mobile gaming or consumer apps preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute early-stage strategy to grow an engaged player community.
• Gather feedback and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Build authentic relationships with players, community leaders, and partners.
• Develop scalable programs across digital and in-person touchpoints.
• Partner with Product Marketing to adapt brand voice for community settings.
• Identify player achievements and surface stories for marketing and PR.
• Establish community standards, moderation and escalation practices.
• Define and report community health using KPI signals.
