Job summary

SpaceX in Texas is seeking a Spaceport Operations Supervisor to oversee housing, transportation, site amenities and guest services for our spaceport operations. You will develop and implement customer service strategies, train staff, manage scheduling and payroll, and ensure safety, quality and cost controls while supporting mission objectives.

High school diploma or equivalent.
3+ years of leadership experience within hospitality or transportation.

Responsibilities

Oversee Spaceport operations including strategy and execution leasing/traveler housing program, transportation and amenities.
Monitor quality and consistency of Spaceport operations by setting and enforcing standards, inspecting and areas of responsibility.
Train staff on customer service, anticipating guest needs and problem resolution.
Enforce proper safety practices with staff and leads.
Coordinate and enhance time management for team.
Monitor financial activities for Spaceport operations, driving revenue and reducing costs.
Create and maintain training materials for in-person and online use.
Manage performance for Spaceport Operations staff.
Collaborate with Spaceport Development Team, Facilities, Culinary and Hospitality teams.
