Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Spaceport Operations Specialist to lead housing, transportation, site amenities, and guest services for our Starbase campus. You will design and implement customer service strategies, train staff, and ensure high standards across facilities and operations.

This role requires coordinating with multiple teams, maintaining safety protocols, and managing budgeting and vendor relations to support the Starbase Village build-out and ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 2+ years of experience within the hospitality or operations industry.
• Experience leading a team within the hospitality or operations industry.
• Advanced knowledge of customer service and problem resolution.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Ability to organize work for large groups in various service formats.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Spaceport Village Operations including leasing/rental housing, transportation, amenities, and events.
• Monitor quality and consistency of operations by enforcing standards and inspecting areas.
• Train staff on customer service, anticipating guest needs and problem resolution.
• Enforce safety practices with staff and leads.
• Coordinate and enhance time management for the team.
• Support budgeting/financial activities related to operations and efficiency.
• Create training materials for in-person and online use.
• Manage performance of Spaceport Operations staff.
• Assist in project implementation to develop Starbase Village and related facilities.
