Exploration Technology Group in San Francisco, CA seeks a Part Time Wire Harness Technician to support spaceflight hardware builds. You will fabricate harnesses from drawings, perform crimping, soldering, shielding, and connector assembly to aerospace standards with engineering collaboration.

Required: 2+ years of spacecraft harness manufacturing, ability to read wiring diagrams, manual dexterity, and US work authorization. On-site role with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Read wiring diagrams or work instructions with accuracy.
• Demonstrate manual dexterity and steady hands for small components.
• Maintain ESD, FOD, and cleanliness requirements appropriate for flight hardware.

Responsibilities

• Build flight-ready wire harnesses from drawings, schematics, and pinouts with minimal supervision
• Perform crimping, soldering, shielding, and connector assembly to spaceflight standards
• Work with Micro-D, Nano-D, MIL-DTL-38999, and similar flight connectors
• Execute proper shielding terminations, lacing, strain relief, and routing
• Inspect and test harnesses (continuity, shorts, workmanship) prior to delivery
• Generate clean as-built documentation
