Job summary

Lanteris Space LLC in San Jose, CA seeks an Advanced Harness Technician to join our team. The role focuses on wiring and testing wire harnesses for spacecraft, requiring hand–eye coordination, precision, and the ability to read mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.

The successful candidate will maintain Lanteris certifications for ESD, Contamination Control and Hazardous Waste, perform rework from engineering changes, and fabricate fixtures for flight harnesses.

Qualifications

• US citizen or US person required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years of related electrical, mechanical or electronic assembly experience, including wire harness fabrication for satellite spacecraft.
• Willing to work all shifts, overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand manufacturing assembly processes and mechanical drawings.
• Maintain all required Lanteris certifications for ESD, Contamination Control and Hazardous Waste management.
• Read wire lists and wiring schematic diagrams; use wire stripping & crimping tools, heat guns, exacto knives, torque tools and soldering irons.
• Track engineering changes and perform rework to incorporate harness ECRs as required.
• Perform harness rework in test and support harness work in related areas.
• Fabricate fixtures for flight harnesses and support harness testing and testing adapters.
