Job summary

Lanteris Space Systems in San Jose, CA seeks an Advanced Harness Technician to join our team. The role focuses on electrical wiring, wire harness fabrication, repair and testing for spacecraft, following manufacturing processes and drawings.

The candidate will use wire stripping, crimping tools, heat guns, torque tools and soldering irons, and maintain certifications for flight harness and safety. Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and weekends required.

Qualifications

• US citizen or US person required.
• High school diploma or equivalent with 4 years of related electrical, mechanical or electronic assembly experience including wire harness fabrication for satellite spacecraft.
• Willingness to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand manufacturing assembly processes and mechanical drawings.
• Maintain certifications for flight harness and cable assemblies, ESD, Contamination Control and Hazardous Waste.
• Read wire lists and wiring schematics; use stripping, crimping tools, heat guns, exacto knives, torque tools and soldering irons.
• Track engineering changes and perform rework to incorporate ECRs; fabricate fixtures and support testing.
