Job summary

Blue Origin seeks an engineer to support thermal and fluid system design for launch vehicle programs in a collaborative team. You will analyze thermal environments, model aerothermal effects, and document results across all project stages from concept to flight operations.

Candidates should have a BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, 2+ years in thermal or thermodynamic analysis, and experience with tools like ANSYS Workbench/Classic, SINDA/FLUINT, or Thermal Desktop.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of BS degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
  • 2 or more years of experience in the fields of thermal or thermodynamic analysis.
  • Experience with one or more fluid or thermal modeling tools is required (e.g., ANSYS Workbench, ANSYS Classic, SINDA/FLUINT, Thermal Desktop, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Support analysis for thermal and fluid environments across development and flight regimes.
  • Own documentation and maintenance of analysis inputs, models, and results in reports and data books.
