Blue Origin seeks a Thermal/Fluid Systems Engineer to support the New Glenn vehicle. You will develop and verify thermal and fluid environments for launch vehicle components, implement aerothermal effects, rocket plume heating, and contribute to flight operations and sustaining engineering.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 4+ years in thermal/thermodynamic analysis and experience with tools like ANSYS or SINDA/FLUINT.

Qualifications

• Minimum BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in thermal or thermodynamic analysis.
• Experience with one or more fluid or thermal modeling tools (e.g., ANSYS Workbench, ANSYS Classic, SINDA/FLUINT, Thermal Desktop).

Responsibilities

• Analysis intensive work supporting development and verification of launch vehicle thermal and fluid environments and performance requirements.
• Own documentation and maintenance of analysis inputs, models, and results in reports and data books.
• Apply technical leadership to contribute to safe, reliable spaceflight.
