Job summary

Blue Origin in Seattle is seeking a Test Engineering Intern to work directly with our engineering teams on projects supporting our spaceflight programs. You will contribute to design, analysis, test planning and operation of test systems across fluid, propulsion, mechanical, avionics software, structures, GNC and electronics domains.

This full-time, 15-week internship pays $38 per hour, offers housing and relocation support, and requires U.S. citizenship or eligible status.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as refugee or asylum status.
• Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program with at least one semester or quarter remaining after the internship.
• Available to work full time for 15 weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.
• Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong interest in Blue Origin's mission.

Responsibilities

• Assist test engineering on design, analysis, test planning and operation of test systems across multiple subsystems.
• Some projects may require comfort with heights.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support internship objectives.
