Job summary

Blue Origin in Merritt Island, FL invites university interns to join our Test Engineering team for hands-on projects supporting propulsion, fluid, mechanical, avionics software, structures, and GNC test systems. You will work with engineering teams on design, analysis, test planning and operation, with some roles involving working at height.

We offer housing and relocation support. The position requires a full-time 15-week commitment, U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as refugee or asylum.
• Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program and have at least one semester or quarter remaining after the internship.
• Available to work full time for 15 weeks while not enrolled in coursework.
• Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong interest in Blue Origin's mission.

Responsibilities

• Intern projects may involve design, analysis, test planning and operation of test systems for testing fluid, propulsion, mechanical, avionics software, structures, GNC and electronic systems.
• Some projects may require comfort with heights.
