Job summary

Barrios Technology is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to join our team supporting NASA programs. The role focuses on leading system integration, requirements management, and verification activities across complex spaceflight programs.

You will drive architecture definitions, interface control, and risk management with internal and external partners. The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background, proven leadership, and experience guiding cross‑discipline teams through design,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 10+ years of systems engineering experience across multiple domains.
Subject matter authority in requirements, architecture, design, integration, and verify/validate complex systems.
Excellent communication to influence senior engineering decisions and customers.
Experience mentoring L1/L2 engineers and leading cross‑program initiatives.

Responsibilities

Provide enterprise level leadership for test, planning, and verification architectures.
Integrate Orion program requirements with NASA teams and external partners.
Lead architecture trade studies and feasibility analyses across hardware, software, and operations.
Develop risk frameworks and coach teams in risk planning and execution.
Oversee interfaces and documentation across programs and partners.
Perform MBSE, model-based systems engineering activities and MBSE tooling guidance.
