We are seeking Flight Software Engineers to help create next generation commercial space capabilities. You will work alongside our commercial spaceflight partners to develop software for emerging spaceflight systems and their supporting infrastructure,

Qualifications

• BS degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Technology, or Math with 2 years of related software development experience.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming (C/C++).
• Experience with firmware and embedded software integration.
• Experience debugging embedded systems with lab equipment like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Familiarity with serial and packet-based communication protocols (RS-232/422/485; TCP/IP, UDP/IP).
• Experience with Git-based platforms (GitLab, GitHub) and cross-disciplinary teamwork.
• Strong communication, coordination, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development, and testing of flight software for critical spaceflight systems.
• Support the full software lifecycle from design through deployment and operational support.
• Collaborate with hardware teams for successful hardware/software integration and design trades.
• Perform analysis and verification of software performance with hands-on debugging in lab environments.
• Support risk identification, fault analysis, and mitigation activities for flight software.
• Conduct hardware-in-the-loop testing and validate system behavior in test environments.
• Participate in Agile development cycles including planning and verification activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for system-level integration and troubleshooting.
