Job summary

Barrios Technology is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to join our team on NASA programs from Merritt Island, FL. You will lead requirements, architecture, and verification activities across multi‑discipline programs and mentor L1–L2 engineers while coordinating with external partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering with 10+ years of systems engineering experience.
Subject matter authority in requirements, architecture, design, integration, and verification.
Exceptional communication to influence executive engineering decisions.
Experience mentoring L1–L2 engineers.
Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams and cross-program initiatives.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and enterprise engineering tools.

Responsibilities

Provide enterprise leadership for test, planning, and verification architectures.
Integrate Orion Ops and Maintenance requirements with external teams.
Perform requirements management, trade studies, and MBSE modeling.
Identify risks and coach teams in risk planning and execution.
Lead interface document integration for Orion program with EGS.
Define system test/verification philosophies aligned to program goals.
Develop strategic relationships with NASA and partner organizations.
Drive cross-program process improvements and modernization.
