Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a motivated Engineering Intern to work directly with our engineering teams on spaceflight projects during a 15-week summer program. You will contribute to systems engineering tasks across requirements verification, system safety, and integration while gaining hands-on experience and mentorship from senior engineers.

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or allowed resident, be enrolled in an undergraduate program with at least one semester remaining, and be able to work full-time

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with at least one semester or quarter remaining after the internship.
• Completed at least one year of full-time coursework post high school graduation (sophomore standing).
• Available to work full time for 15 weeks during the internship.
• Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for Space.

Responsibilities

• Interns work directly with Blue engineering teams on projects in support of our business units.
• Systems Engineering Intern projects may involve system definition, verification, and integration, including safety and operations.
