Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an intern to work with engineering teams on mechanical/structural projects, gaining hands-on experience in propulsion systems and structures. You will receive mentorship, engage in cross-team events, and contribute to real-world spaceflight initiatives.

The role requires full-time availability for 15 weeks, U.S. citizenship or eligible status, and a passion for space. Housing and relocation support are provided as part of the internship package.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and have at least one semester/quarter remaining after the internship.
• Available to work full time for 15 weeks while not enrolled in coursework.
• Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Blue engineering teams on projects in support of our business units.
• Gain hands-on, real-world experience and mentorship from mentors and managers.
• Participate in events to learn about other parts of our organization.
• Projects may involve design, analysis and testing of mechanical systems, propulsion systems, and structures.
