Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking motivated interns to work directly with our engineering teams on projects supporting multiple business units. Interns will engage in applied systems engineering tasks, including system definition, verification, and testing across fluid, mechanical, propulsion, and electrical domains.

During the 15-week full-time internship, you will gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship, and participate in events to learn about other parts of our organization.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship.
• Completed at least one year of full-time coursework post high school graduation (sophomore standing).
• Available to work full time for 15 weeks during the internship period.
• Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for Space.

Responsibilities

• Intern projects may involve applied systems engineering including system definition, testing, integration, verification, safety, operations, and verification of fluid, mechanical, propulsion and electrical systems.
• Gain hands-on, real-world experience while working with Blue engineering teams.
• Receive mentorship and participate in events to learn about other parts of the organization.
