Job summary

Anduril Industries in Chantilly, VA is seeking Software Engineers to join the Space Special Programs team. You will implement flight, ground test, and ground station software across embedded and host sides, integrating spacecraft systems with existing command and control software.

You will work with hardware interfaces, RF, machine learning, and algorithms, perform design reviews, and help create high-reliability, manufacturable onboard and ground software in a fast-paced, mission-focused

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical / computer engineering or similar.
• 2–8 years of professional software product development experience.
• Embedded or host-side focus experience depending on role.

Responsibilities

• Design market-leading space flight hardware and ground equipment software.
• Implement software components via rapid prototyping and testing.
• Apply fault detection, recovery, and data redundancy standards for reliability.
• Implement mission functionality on high-speed digital, RF, and analog designs.
• Participate in design reviews and collaborate to raise team capabilities.
• Determine when to use firmware bring-up vs flight code.
• Support root-cause data collection for production operations.
• Work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
