Qualifications

• B.S. in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, CS, or similar field.
• 2-8 years of hardware-based product development experience.
• Ability to decompose systems into requirements and create block diagrams.
• Familiarity with common interfaces like Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, MIPI CSI-2.

Responsibilities

• Assist with full life cycle of design, development, integration & test, and operations for spacecraft systems.
• Maintain requirements, risks, budgets, and conduct trade studies.
• Interface with other spacecraft disciplines to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Produce test plans, procedures, and design review materials for customers and stakeholders.
• Gain experience across requirements development, mission design, spacecraft and payload design, integration and on-orbit operations.
• Work with a cross-functional team to design market-leading hardware products.
• Contribute to rapid prototyping, verification, and qualification activities.
• Follow internal guidelines for space flight hardware design, test, and operations.
• Participate in design reviews and develop customer-facing documentation.
