Job summary

Anduril is seeking Software Engineers for the Space Special Programs team in Chantilly, VA. You will implement flight and ground software across embedded and host environments, spanning RF, data protocols, ML, and control algorithms in resource-constrained settings.

You will work with cross-functional teams to prototype, verify, and qualify software, adhering to fault detection, data integrity, and redundancy guidelines for high-reliability space systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical/computer engineering, or similar field.
• 2-8 years of professional software experience, embedded and host-side.
• For embedded roles: read VHDL and write C code.
• For host-side: GUI, databases, and high-level languages.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement flight software and ground software for embedded and host systems.
• Prototype software components and support design verification and space qualification activities.
• Follow space-flight software standards for reliability and maintainability.
• Develop high-reliability, manufacturable software for on-orbit operations.
• Collaborate with SWE peers and cross-discipline teams on design reviews.
