Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering with 10 years of related engineering experience.
• Ability to review TPS, DR, and DTP paperwork as needed.
• Knowledge of space flight hardware development and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Build a capable, cooperative and supportive team for development, manufacturing, testing, certification, and sustaining engineering of major Government Furnished Equipment end items and Artemis projects.
• Direct and hold accountable matrix organizations in requirements development, design, manufacturing, testing, and certification of flight hardware.
• Mentor Project Engineers in critical thinking, decision making and behaviors to improve PM effectiveness and create high performing teams.
• Plan and execute hardware troubleshooting to investigate mechanical issues in flight hardware and test articles.
• Review and evaluate results from engineering tasks and ensure quality and timeliness.
• Apply Project Management processes and tools in development, sustainment or operation of flight hardware or systems.
• Define, communicate and mitigate project risks; establish a healthy project environment.
