Job summary

Amentum, in collaboration with GCS, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The role focuses on coordinating shipments across locations, expediting material flow, and maintaining inventory aligned with production schedules.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of deployment/logistics experience, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with established supply systems and procedures. This position is on-site and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Deployment/Logistics Coordinator or Administrative Assistant.
• Working knowledge of governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other guidelines.
• Analytical ability to define problems, collect data, and act based on guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with different locations and people to process shipments through approved flows.
• Expedite the flow of material and parts.
• Ensure supplies and inventory are ordered, received, replenished, and kept at appropriate levels; participate in new and standard part number creation.
• Monitor inventory levels to align with forecasted demand and goals for common stock items.
• Participate in disposition of non-conforming material.
• Arrange reservation and transfer of materials to meet production schedules.
