Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support complex contracts, projects, and missions by tracking operations and reporting on contract-related activities. The role involves coordinating logistics, responding to inquiries, and ensuring documentation aligns with contract requirements.

The position requires an Associate degree (or equivalent experience), proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Travel up to domestic and international locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; four years of related experience may be substituted for college.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Maintains and tracks operations, tasks and missions on contract.
• Responds to inquiries from customers, Company personnel, and employees via phone, fax, and email.
• Maintains contract requirements and information in the contracts system.
• Assists in audits and may lead in some cases.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and deadlines.
• Assists in ensuring program processes meet contract, corporate, and program deadlines.
• Coordinates mobilization and transition of personnel as assigned.
• Acts as point of contact for operations in absence of Operations Manager.
• Monitors operations to stay within cost and performance standards.
• Performs other qualified duties as assigned.
