Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join the team in Houston, TX, supporting NASA-related programs and cross-site shipments. The role focuses on coordinating shipments, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring material flow aligns with production schedules.

The candidate should have at least 3 years of deployment/logistics coordination experience, strong knowledge of supply systems, and the ability to deal with non-conforming material.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of deployment/logistics coordination experience.
• Working knowledge of governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
• Bachelor’s degree or business school training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with different locations and people to process shipments through the approved flows.
• Expedite the flow of material and parts to meet production schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure alignment with forecasted demand and stock goals.
• Participate in disposition of non-conforming material and in the creation of new part numbers.
• Arrange for reservation and transfer of materials to meet production needs.
