Job summary

Mclaurin Aerospace, in collaboration with NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, is seeking a Spaceflight Hardware Project Manager - Structures Division to lead development, manufacturing, testing, certification, and sustaining engineering of government furnished spaceflight hardware.

You will manage budgets, prepare cost reports, coordinate with NASA managers, lead a team, and guide an end-to-end lifecycle from design through flight delivery, ensuring safety, schedule, and performance while

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5–10 years of related experience.
• Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cost estimating.
• Experience with NASA/JSC flight hardware processing and certification.
• Experience with hardware anomaly troubleshooting and failure analysis.
• Ability to review Work Authorization Documents (WADs) for Class I hardware.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, manufacturing, testing, certification, and sustaining engineering of spaceflight hardware end items.
• Own bases of estimate and develop financial reports monitoring cost performance.
• Oversee procedures, work instructions, and process flow for flight hardware.
• Interface with NASA managers and customers to deliver updated project performance.
• Plan and execute hardware troubleshooting for mechanical/electrical failures.
• Represent the project at flight hardware development lifecycle meetings.
