Ideal candidates will have 15+ years in NASA spaceflight hardware structures, a BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, and related experience. This is a part-time, temp assignment with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Experience with NASA spaceflight hardware is preferred.
• Strong understanding of fracture control requirements.
• Ability to review structural analysis reports and provide comments.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to NASA/ES for review of stress reports.
• Review components and subsystem hardware designs.
• Review structural verification plans and analysis for flight hardware.
• Create a spreadsheet database with comments and questions.
• Coordinate with team to resolve comments and questions.
• Perform other duties as required.
