Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Spaceflight Hardware Project Manager - Structures Division to join the Bastion team and contribute to NASA spaceflight hardware programs. The role involves leading cross-functional teams across development, manufacturing, testing, and certification of critical spaceflight hardware for government projects.

You will manage cost reporting, risk reviews, and process improvements while coordinating with NASA managers and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time, within-budget

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering and normally possess 5-10 years of related experience.
• Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cost estimating.
• Experience with NASA/JSC flight hardware processing for spaceflight.

Responsibilities

• Build a successful team for development, manufacturing, testing, certification, and sustaining of major government furnished equipment end items for spaceflight hardware projects.
• Develop and maintain financial reports that monitor cost performance against plans.
• Coordinate and support flight hardware products and systems development through design, procurement, fabrication, test, data analysis, certification and flight/mission delivery.
• Plan and execute hardware troubleshooting to investigate mechanical and electrical failures within flight hardware or test support hardware.
