Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a structural analysis professional to join a small, expert team supporting the New Glenn upper stage development and operation. You will analyze valves, tubing, mounts, COPVs, and related components, ensuring safety and repeatability in spaceflight.

You will guide other analysts and review supplier analyses as part of qualification efforts. Join a mission-driven group focused on reusable, safe, and low-cost spaceflight.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is required.
• 3+ years of structural/dynamic analysis experience for pressurized components and systems.
• Experience with ANSYS including structural, dynamic, and thermal analyses.
• 3D CAD experience with Creo Pro/E (Piping module preferred).
• Experience supervising, reviewing, or approving other analysts.
• Experience with fatigue analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structural and dynamic analysis of valves, tubing, mounts, COPVs, test fixtures, etc.
• Provide technical guidance, oversight, and analysis review/approval for designers and other analysts.
• Review supplier analyses of COTS valves, supporting qualification efforts.
• Maintain and report on work tasks, schedule, and technical status.
