Blue Origin in Merritt Island, Florida is seeking a seasoned structural analyst to lead and coordinate structural analysis on the First Stage Fluid System of the New Glenn launch vehicle. This hands-on role covers configuration development, trade studies, reporting, test support, post-test analysis, and disposition of manufacturing defects, with opportunities to influence design and reliability.

Candidates will apply technical leadership, integrity, and a passion for advancing human spaceflight.

Qualifikationen

• Passion for our mission: millions living and working in space
• BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years in structural/dynamic analysis of pressurized components/systems
• Experience with FEA tools (ANSYS preferred) including structural, dynamic, thermal
• Knowledge of 3D CAD (Creo/SolidWorks/NX)
• Knowledge of manufacturing methods, material selection and testing
• Ability to use structural hand-calcs for quick decisions
• U.S. citizen or eligible for U.S. work status
