Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Environmental Test Technician to set up and execute vibration, thermal vacuum and thermal cycling tests on space flight hardware. You will work directly with the test conductor to ensure accurate test execution and data collection.

You will install and operate instrumentation, interpret drawings and procedures, and help maintain SOPs while supporting safe, high-quality testing and on-time delivery of test reports.

Qualifications

• Experience reading engineering drawings and procedures.
• Ability to interpret test procedures and run logs.
• Experience documenting test data and final reports.

Responsibilities

• Execute environmental tests on space flight hardware using specialized equipment.
• Install and operate test instrumentation and other equipment.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and test procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering to refine standard operating procedures.
• Record, organize and deliver test data for final reports.
• Oversee test operations as required.
• Support safety, quality and efficiency in environmental tests.
• Operate ground support equipment as required and ensure proper certification.
