Job summary

Terran Orbital seeks an Environmental Test Technician to run environmental tests, manage vibration tables and vacuum chambers, and support spacecraft build/testing. You will install equipment, document processes, and ensure calibration and safety in a fast-growing team.

The role reports to the Production Supervisor; requires US citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance. Full-time, weekday schedule with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years in environmental testing.
• Experience with vibration tables and thermal vacuum chambers.
• Ability to follow technical work instructions and drawings.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and team work.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, instrument, and test satellite flight hardware during development and production.
• Monitor test equipment and hardware performance through campaigns.
• Operate space-simulation test equipment (thermal, vacuum, vibration, shock).
• Install and troubleshoot test racks and interfaces with flight hardware.
• Coordinate with engineering and facilities to activate test equipment.
