Job summary

SEAKR Engineering is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician for the 2nd shift to perform mechanical and electrical assembly of spaceflight hardware. The role emphasizes precision hand-soldering, PCB work, wire harness fabrication, and chassis integration under IPC standards.

Qualifications include 5+ years in high-precision soldering and avionics wiring, plus IPC J-STD-001 Space Addendum certification. Competitive hourly pay and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active or past IPC J-STD-001 Space Addendum solder certification required within 30 days.
• At least 5 years in high-precision soldering and avionics box builds.
• Experience with crimping techniques for avionics wiring.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Familiarity with 5S, FOD, and ESD.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts into subassemblies using hand tools and soldering iron.
• Follow process engineers' instructions and quality checks.
• Prepare PC boards and perform component preparation.
• Inspect work for conformity to specifications.
• Handle wire harness fabrication including crimping and soldering.
• Operate under stereo microscope for precision work.
• Ensure safety, PPE, and 5S compliance.
