Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an Electrical Harness Design Engineer to develop harness interconnect diagrams and 3D routed harnesses for lunar/spaceflight hardware. You will design power, RF, and data harnesses, create SID/BID/WID diagrams, and integrate harnesses across the full lifecycle from concept to production.

Responsibilities include 3D CAD work, harness brackets, and lab infrastructure support for HIL test beds. U.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. in aerospace/electrical/mechanical or related field.
• 4+ years designing wire harnesses.
• 4+ years creating schematics, SID/BID/WID.
• Experience in harness drawings configuration management.
• Knowledge of wire derating analysis and IPC/WHMA-620A.
• 3-D CAD design and integration skills.
• Familiar with harness fabrication/installation processes.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.; background checks

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering SID, BID, WID diagrams and wiring interconnects.
• Design and integrate electrical harnesses for power, RF, data.
• Create 3D routed harness data files with CAD software.
• Design harness brackets, support configurations, trade studies.
• Support harness assemblies across concept to production lifecycle.
• Assist with HIL test beds and lab infrastructure deployment.
