Quantum Space is seeking a Software Test & Automation Engineer II to develop and maintain automated testing solutions for spacecraft flight software. You will contribute to software integration, verification, and regression testing across SIL, HIL, and flight-representative environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• 2+ years in software development, testing, or test automation.
• Strong Python and C/C++ programming skills.
• Experience with automated testing and verification tools.
• Experience testing embedded systems and real-time software.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and software configuration management.
• Experience debugging, troubleshooting, and defect tracking.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated testing for spacecraft flight software.
• Design and execute requirements-based test cases and scripts.
• Develop and enhance automated test frameworks using Python, C/C++.
• Verify command and telemetry processing, mode management, and fault management.
• Support SIL, HIL, and flight-representative testing environments.
• Collaborate with engineers to identify defects and perform root-cause analysis.
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and document verification reports.
• Maintain test environments, simulation tools, and test infrastructure.
• Participate in technical reviews to improve verification processes.
