Job summary

Qualifications

  • Experience managing complex interdisciplinary manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with testing complex vehicles in the aerospace or automotive industry.
  • Ability to learn new engineering concepts quickly; implement continuous improvement processes.
  • Experience with command-line interface on Linux desktop.
  • Ability to read and parse log files.
  • Advanced PCB and harness soldering skills.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate and test satellite avionics at PCBA, sub-assembly, and spacecraft level.
  • Organize and manage test stations and tools, maintaining maintenance and calibration schedules.
  • Support engineering in improving functional testing of sub-systems and components as well as system level testing.
  • Inspect and repair cables and harnesses for internal systems, electrical interconnects, and overall systems.
  • Troubleshoot test failures with test engineers.
  • Own subassembly debug plan development.
  • Develop and improve work instruction guides.
  • Apply continuous improvement methodologies (Lean/Six Sigma).
