Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Spacecraft Systems Engineer to support the development, testing, and operation of lunar landers and space systems. You will guide the system engineering process and provide technical leadership to subsystems, reporting to the Systems Engineering Manager.

A candidate who can lead a systems engineering team is ideal. The role requires broad experience across space mission disciplines, strong communication with partners, and the ability to contribute to proposals

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in systems engineering, structure/thermal design, avionics, power, propulsion, comms, flight software, mission management, SMA, trajectory analysis.
• Strong understanding of space and launch vehicle mission environments.
• BS degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant space mission experience; advanced degrees may replace experience.

Responsibilities

• Design development for a lunar lander or space-based system.
• Manage the concept of operations, requirements, design configuration, budgets, launch constraints, risk, and verification planning across the program lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance to system and subsystem teams.
• Collaborate with systems engineering team, Mission Director, partners and customers.
• Support interface documents, integration plans, and operation planning for partners/payloads.
• Serve as primary contact between partner/payload engineers.
• Contribute to technical proposals for new business and missions.
• Prepare and deliver technical docs and reports.
• Lead technical presentations and demonstrations.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines to resolve risks and challenges.
