Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Software & Test Integration Engineer to plan, integrate, and execute software verification and test activities for lunar landers. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure mission-critical software performs flawlessly from lab to launch and on the Moon.

The role focuses on designing test plans, building testing infrastructure, and improving automation while tackling complex technical challenges in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or graduate degree in a technical field.
• Minimum five years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Proficiency with scripting languages (Python).
• Demonstrated ability to build and test distributed software and/or hardware systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead anomaly investigation activities involving multiple experts.

Responsibilities

• Design test plans and procedures to validate spacecraft software/hardware.
• Develop testing infrastructure and tests for cross-platform verification.
• Improve testing capabilities to support developers and automated testing.
• Execute tests manually when spacecraft hardware is involved and report regressions.
• Develop automation to align manual and automated testing.
• Expand nightly tests across CI pipelines for broader coverage.
• Write bug tickets for software issues encountered during verification.
• Develop reporting tools to map test results to requirements.
• Benchmark spacecraft system performance across flight modes.
• Identify and resolve anomalous software behavior.
• Collaborate with a small team of developers, engineers, and technicians.
