Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher in Mechanical/Aerospace.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with desktop software applications, MS Office is required.
• Experience in finite element model manipulation and coupled loads analysis.
• Experience with Python, MATLAB, and/or C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Perform finite element model checks, dynamic model reductions, coupled loads analysis and interpret results.
• Perform dynamic analyses using commercial and in-house codes, write new simulation scripts (Python) as needed.
• Perform vibroacoustic analysis on FE models for acoustic and random vibration tests.
• Perform modal analysis for tests and demonstrate model correlation.
• Identify critical modes for components or systems; review and process modal and test data.
• Develop and review test plans and procedures; document results; perform data post-processing.
