Aerodyne Industries in Houston invites an experienced Structural Dynamics Engineer to join the JETS II team. You will analyze spacecraft and lunar vehicle structures across NASA programs, performing dynamic and vibroacoustic analyses, model correlation, and test plan support.

The role requires a solid background in mechanical or aerospace engineering, familiarity with FE methods, and programming experience (Python, MATLAB, or C/C++).

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; MS preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with desktop software applications, MS Office required.
• Experience in finite element model manipulation and coupled loads analysis.
• Experience with Python, MATLAB, and/or C/C++.

Mansioni

• Perform finite element model checks and dynamic model reductions.
• Perform dynamic analyses using commercial and in-house codes; develop scripts in Python as needed.
• Conduct vibroacoustic and modal analyses on FE models for tests.
• Identify critical modes for components or integrated systems.
• Review modal and structural data (analytical and test) and support test plans.
