Job summary

Intuitive Machines is seeking a Sr Structural Dynamics Engineer to support test and analysis of spacecraft hardware in dynamic environments. You will plan and perform ground vibration and modal testing, build FE models, and collaborate with test engineers to define instrumentation and limits.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 10+ years in structural dynamics, including experience with vibration, shock, and modal testing; proficiency in Nastran, MATLAB, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
10+ years in structural dynamics with 5+ years in analysis and testing.
Experience with vibration, shock, and modal testing from plan to results.
Proficient in FE modeling and analytical simulations (FEA) and hand calculations.
MATLAB or Python for data analysis.

Responsibilities

Plan, analyze, and perform ground vibration testing of spacecraft hardware.
Construct FE models and test displays for dynamics analyses.
Define test plans with instrumentation and response limits based on analysis results.
Provide on-site support for modal, vibration, and vibro-acoustic testing.
Prepare detailed reports and present findings to stakeholders.
