Job summary

True Anomaly seeks an entry-level Spacecraft Simulation Software Engineer to help build and extend our spacecraft and simulation software, focusing on multi-physics and high-fidelity modeling. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to grow within a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team.

You will work on algorithms for 6DOF dynamics, thermal, attitude control, and propulsion modeling, contributing to simulation infrastructure used to validate control strategies and predict mission

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, CS, physics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Exposure to C++ through coursework, internships, or projects; Python is a plus.
• Foundational OO programming, data structures and algorithms, and testing practices.
• Eagerness to learn quickly with team support.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• U.S. citizen and eligible for DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Write well-structured, efficient code using modern C++ (C++17/20).
• Contribute to multi-physics simulation libraries for spacecraft systems modeling.
• Model 6DOF dynamics, thermal, attitude, and propulsion systems.
• Develop time-stepping algorithms and real-time simulation capabilities.
• Maintain APIs in Python and C++ for internal uses.
• Collaborate with internal teams on mission planning and analyses.
• Participate in code reviews and sprint planning.
