Job summary

True Anomaly, Inc. seeks a Spacecraft Simulation Software Engineer to evolve our multi-physics simulator for spacecraft and ground systems.

You will design high-fidelity models and infrastructure to enable engineers to validate control algorithms and predict mission outcomes with confidence. You will work in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team delivering 6DOF dynamics, thermal and power models, and coupled physics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 1-3 years of professional C++ experience.
• Experience with Python for scripting and prototyping.
• Strong object-oriented software development practices.
• U.S. Citizen and eligible for DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Write efficient code in C++ (C++17/20) with focus on performance and maintainability.
• Develop and maintain multi-physics simulation libraries for spacecraft systems.
• Model 6DOF dynamics, thermal, attitude, propulsion, and power.
• Design time-stepping solvers and real-time simulation architectures.
• Provide APIs in Python and C++ for internal applications.
• Collaborate with internal teams on missions and analyses.
• Participate in code reviews and sprint planning.
