Rocket Lab is seeking a Spacecraft Propulsion Components Engineer I in Long Beach, CA. You will own propulsion components from concept through release, perform CAD work and analyses, and coordinate test plans with the propulsion team.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in engineering, propulsion experience, and the ability to obtain a security clearance. This is an on-site role requiring US citizenship and access requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience in propulsion development or high-performance environments.
• U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own development of propulsion components from concept to release.
• Create CAD designs and perform performance calculations.
• Review drawings and specifications, conduct test planning and data analysis.
• Lead technical discussions with stakeholders and guide team through development.
