Job summary
Rocket Lab USA is seeking a Spacecraft Propulsion Systems Engineer I to own propulsion development and lead end-to-end design efforts in Long Beach, CA. You will design propulsion components in CAD, perform performance calculations, review drawings, and plan tests with data analysis.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- Experience in propulsion system development or other high-performance field.
- US citizenship is required, due to program requirements.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Own development of propulsion systems, guiding end-to-end development.
- Create CAD designs for propulsion components and perform calculations.
- Review drawings, 3D PMI, reports, and specifications for release.
- Plan tests, set up instrumentation, run tests, and analyze data.
- Communicate with internal and external project stakeholders.
- Mentor team members and contribute to process improvements.
