Job summary

ispace is seeking a Production Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing U.S. team. You will develop and implement cost‑effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards.

This role will support manufacturing issues on existing designs and assist new hardware development in early design phases, ensuring manufacturability and smooth transitions. You will lead production readiness reviews, collaborate with design engineering to improve

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum five years in a manufacturing engineering function in a high-detail environment.
• Experience with instrumentation and data acquisition (e.g. SPICE, SQL, National Instruments).
• Ability to work in an adaptive, iterative environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop production procedures and manage transition of components from development to production.
• Develop and refine manufacturing processes to meet safety, quality, efficiency, and delivery requirements.
• Lead production readiness reviews for transition to full-rate production.
• Advise on technical decisions and create work instructions.
• Collaborate with design engineering to provide manufacturability feedback and document specifications.
• Identify capital tooling needs and stand up production capabilities.
