Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, seeks a Spacecraft Mechanical Engineer to design and configure satellite structures from primary frames to deployment interfaces. You will ensure survivability through prototyping, testing, transport, launch and long‑term operations.

The role is 100% onsite in California. Requires 1–5 years with SolidWorks or equivalent CAD and familiarity with spacecraft mechanical design. U.S. Person and security clearances are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• 1-5 years of experience with SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD.
• Familiarity with mechanical design of spacecraft and related processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical design and configuration tasks for satellite structures.
• Create first-order models and mass properties analyses.
• Produce part and assembly drawings for assembly, test, and launch.
