Job summary

Rocket Lab in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Spacecraft Mechanical Engineer II to join our Space Systems design team. You will develop high‑performance, lightweight satellite deployment systems and bus configurations, and work hands‑on with flight hardware to drive mission-critical development.

You will own component designs from concept through production, perform hand-calcs and FEA, and participate in design reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering (or equivalent).
• 2+ years of Mechanical engineering experience in the aerospace industry.
• U.S citizenship is required due to program requirements.
