Job summary

KBR Careers is seeking a Spacecraft and Ground Systems Integrations Engineer in Colorado Springs. The role focuses on spacecraft and ground system integration, serving as the primary contact for internal and external customers, and covering requirements, launch operations, and on-console support.

The ideal candidate has an active TS/SCI DoD clearance, a STEM degree with 3+ years of experience, and strong system engineering and communications skills.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI DoD clearance and adjudicated polygraph required.
• Completed Bachelor’s STEM degree with 3 years of experience.
• Knowledge of spacecraft flight operations and ground systems used for command and control.
• Understanding of systems engineering processes, VV&T, and requirements interpretation.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to tailor delivery to audience.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead integration activities for spacecraft and ground systems with on-orbit command and control.
• Troubleshoot issues; document problems and propose process improvements.
• Evaluate and validate program requirements for on-orbit and future programs.
• Advocate for operations requirements and ensure engineering meets operational needs.
• Provide spacecraft/ground systems expertise to cross-functional teams.
