Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space seeks a skilled GN&C engineer to help design, analyze, and test guidance, navigation, and control systems for spacecraft operating in challenging space environments.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver flight-proven GN&C solutions, using MATLAB/Simulink, C++, and Python, while ensuring mission success through rigorous simulation and validation.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in spacecraft controls design, analysis, simulation, and test.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, C++, Python.
• Experience with Kalman Filtering and Attitude Determination.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for program work.

Responsibilities

• Perform spacecraft controls design, analysis, simulation, and testing activities.
• Develop and validate GN&C algorithms and flight software.
• Utilize MATLAB/Simulink, C++, Python for development and testing.
• Apply Kalman Filtering and Attitude Determination techniques.
• Support hardware integration and mission operations in a team environment.
