Job summary

CACI International seeks an experienced Spacecraft EPS Engineer to support NASA's U.S. Deorbit Vehicle at NASA/JSC in Houston, TX.

You will oversee system-level requirements, energy generation/storage, and power distribution, coordinating with NASA and industry partners to verify ISS power requirements and mission readiness. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in aerospace electrical power systems, strong systems engineering and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident for access to US Government facilities.
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related discipline required.
• 5-7 years of electrical power systems experience.
• Experience with aerospace vehicle electrical power systems.
• Systems Engineering experience, especially verifying requirements.
• Excellent people skills to facilitate meetings.

Responsibilities

• Review and oversight of system level requirements, integration, verification, validation, and certification.
• Deep understanding of energy storage, energy generation, power distribution, and energy conversion at the system level.
• Coordinate with stakeholders within NASA and private industry.
• Contribute to NASA project lifecycle milestone reviews (SDR, PDR, CDR).
• Perform systems engineering, such as hazard analysis on vehicle subsystems.
• Support Safety Review Panels (SRP).
